You should try replacing your system RAM and run the Windows XP installation program again. I change the boot order so that the CD-DRIVE boots first (The Disk doesn't actually boot from the CD DRIVE, it boots from the DVD DRIVE. Ntldr Is Missing Unplug the IDE cables, start the computer, Scan for Hardware Change then plug the cables back when restarting.I googled for alot of fixes too but still can't find one that can Memory, CD, optical drive in use and/or connection between optical drive and mobo may be defective... Never really new what it was all about, by the time I got it installed had forgotten all about it. I've done this before and never had this problem. During the installation, from the cd, it tells me "setup cannot copy file [filename]". Because you need to clear the HDD via a complete reformat, then try to install Windows. If you want to install XP, then I would download the ISO image for Seatools for DOS burn the image with IMGBurn boot off of the newly created CD and run
