Computer Wont Play Sound Through Speakers

tis has been going on for over 3 months now... Seems to be some trouble playing wav files from within other programs now, but the issue playing them from windows media player and winamp is resolved. Thanks.

I also ran the audio tests in the DiretX diagnostic tool and everything plays fine. The reason I asked is just like zlito stated, other programs could have changed the file type association. Thanks for taking the time to consider my problem. 2 answers Last reply Jul 5, 2011 More about speakers wont play sound tigsoundsJun 25, 2011, 1:53 PM Wow...
