So its a good thing they already said theyd replace it bcause of the sensor. I didn't Photoshop/edit the image in any way.. No other game did it. Another kind of video RAM artifact is an unexpected spike. i run the game @ 1080p max settings. You can see some spikes in the image above like the ones which end near the word "lost". Bad idea?? i run the game @ 1080p max settings.
PCI and PCI-Express video cards rarely have this problem. Just wanted to understand how the artifact finds its way back in to show up in screenshots. A tinted screen is a screen which appears correct except the color of the entire screen appears wrong. Though this issue started after I upgraded to 10.7 Lion. If it's an overheating problem then you can occasionally improve your situation by epoxying RAM heatsinks to the RAM chips but usually heatsinks don't help.
