But as stated before, this is NOT the nVidia driver crash issue discussed here.. I think the problem may seem random because it just happens under very specific circumstances.

Play TF2. It could be your card is not getting enough juice with a multirail PSU, which would definitely cause crashes. i can use whatever settings i want (dx9) without crashing so far. They were pretty illuminating, but are probably not sufficient to actually fix the problem.

Also a lot of people already tried a fresh windows installation just to test it, still the Nvidia driver randomly crashes while playing TF2 and only TF2. Sorry this issue has been going on forever. If you are able to repro this issue, please enable make sure to enable full memory dumps ( not minidumps ). It all started shortly after updating my GPU with new Nvidia drivers with Diablo III support and a Windows Update.
