You may also... problem still occrus after a cold boot and with almost every service or application not running. I just bought a Gigabyte K8NS model (nf3 250) motherboard, and bought a new AMD 64 bit 3000+ 754 Socket. after installation the problems disappeared.

But the next day it started doing this freezing after render thing. I have windows XP w/o SP1. I have never overclocked any other parts of my system. ATI Radeon 9600XT Prob.
