There's a promise controller and a VIA controller. Dixie.. Drag these files and folders and and drop them into the ISO1 window.
Copy the contents of the DriverDisk folder to a blank floppy disk. Is there i setting in the BIOS under SATA settings for IDE mode or similar? after trying with Promise and ASUS driverdisks, I finally tried the DriveStation driver from VIA (which, according to VIA, is a correct driver for the VT8237 Integrated Serial ATA RAID controller I would like to get this resolved ASAP for him so he can enjoy his new Computer. weblink Enjoy it.

Sadly, renaming the file will not resolve any problems as both the Promise SATA IDE/RAID modes share the same hardware-id's. These are the two ports closest to the Floppy port, and --more importantly-- closest to the VIA VT8237 Southbridge chip which drives them.
